1:30pm Arrive at the Souderton Cabin at for carpool
- Lottery for train sleeping arrangements
- Terry to collect health insurance card copies

2:30pm Leave Souderton Cabin, carpool down to 30th Street Station
- We should arrive by 3:30 ideally to check in
- Unload at drive through lane (don’t pay to park!)
- Meet rest of group in main lobby, near Information Desk
3:30pm Arrive at 30th St Station, wait at central Information Desk
- Joni will check in with Amtrak
- Luggage will be checked
- Reservations for dinner will be made
- Purchase drinks and snacks for the ride
4:55pm Train departs Philadelphia
- Dinner will be eaten as a group on the train
- Snack car is open 24 hours
9:30pm Quiet time begins, everyone in their own cabin
Reminders for the girls
- Be quiet and courteous, we are sharing the space with other travelers
- We arrive in Savannah at 6:44am which means the wake up call from the conductors will come at 6am. Get some sleep!
- Girls should have their gear packed up before going to sleep. We won’t have much time in the morning.
Saturday, July 28
6am Amtrak conductors will give us a wake up call
- Girls should be up, dressed and have all their gear packed by 6:40. The train stop in Savannah is only a few minutes, we need to be ready to promptly get off the train.
7am Arrive in Savannah!
- Collect checked baggage
- Enjoy breakfast – packed snacks
9am Enterprise will pick us up at the train station
10:30am Hopefully we will be in our cars by this time and heading into Savannah towards Tybee Island.
We will stop for brunch at a diner-type restaurant.
1:30 Estimated arrival at the house on Tybee Island
- leave gear in the cars and walk the beach, pier, or other parts of the island
- when the cleaning service is done with one floor we can access it for bathrooms, etc.

Girls can choose whoever they want to sleep with and choose rooms however, we need to make sure all the adults have a bed. They are free to move the futons and air mattresses around as needed.

- We need to stop at the first headquarters to purchase the coastal Georgia patches we will be earning later in the week.
- Box lunch is included in the tour – selections were made at the info meeting at Hennings.
4pm We will eat dinner out in the city – not sure where.

No schedule for this day – no wake up call!
This day is a home day as most of the attractions in Savannah and on Tybee are closed.
We will spend time on the beach, rent bicycles, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.

9am Lighthouse tour begins
- Leave all bags in the car, no backpacks allowed
- We will need to shop in patrols, stores are small

CRUISE START TIME??
Bull River Cruises for a 3-5 hour barrier island cruise
- explore Little Tybee and Wassaw islands on this guided tour, as well as see dolphins. We can stay for as little or as long as we like, up to 5 hours.
- Everyone should wear bathing suit under their clothes, bring a beach towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, ziplock bag for shells.
- We will pack a lunch and bring a cooler of drinks. Leaving from Bull River Marina.

We have left this day open for any activities we may decide to do once we are down there.
At 9pm, we are reserved on Savannah Riverboat’s Moonlight Entertainment Cruise. We will enjoy music, dancing, and snacks (or the peaceful decks!) during this 90 min cruise. Departs at 9:30.
